Code Of Ethics

AIM

Article 1- These principles determine the professional code of ethics to which Dağlı Insurance Limited Company ('the Company') and its employees must comply when performing their activities within the framework of existing laws and regulations, and constitute as the basis of sanctions to be imposed by the company in case of  violation.

SCOPE

Article 2 - All company employees, managers, and board members ('Employees') must comply with these principles.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Article 3- During their activities, all employees of the company must carry out their duties in line with the general principles stated below to ensure trust and stability in the insurance sector and to prevent transactions/practices that may cause harm to the economy.

a) Full compliance with legal regulations on insurance.

b) Integrity in relationships with customers, agents, and their employees, shareholders, group companies, and other institutions and organizations.

c) Providing clear, comprehensible, and accurate information in the services provided to all parties involved; to fully and accurately inform parties of their rights and obligations.

d) Taking care to take into account the requirements of economic development as well as profitability.

e) To avoid creating unfair and competitive conditions in line with the principles of ensuring trust, continuity, and protecting the common welfare of the sector.

f) To protect the social benefit and environment in all company activities, ensuring the timely and full implementation of measures taken in this regard.

g) To fulfill the full and timely requirements to fight against money laundering, and to cooperate with authorized institutions/organizations within the framework of the provisions of international and national legislation.

PROHIBITIONS

Article 4- Employees must comply with the following during their activities:

a) To disengage in any activity incompatible with the interests and benefits of the industry.

b) Not to benefit customers in a way that contradicts the issues included in the grounds of legal regulations related to insurance and that are explained within the scope of these principles during its activities, even if the act does not contradict national laws and regulations.

c) Not act in ways that cause unfair competition in the industry.

d) To act in contravention of the rules established by the company’s authorized bodies, which are binding for all employees and managers.

CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATION

Article 5- All employees must respect the confidentiality of the information provided by their customers as well as company information, and must not disclose said confidential information to benefit customers and third-party persons.

WORK ETHIC

Article 6- It is imperative that all employees act in a manner that respects the company's reputation in their relationships with each other and their customers. No employee may produce words, writings, announcements, advertisements or implications that may cause a negative image for other companies and managers operating in the sector.

AUDIT

Article 7- The company prepares company accounts in accordance with the principles and regulations stipulated by the PARA KAMBİYO VE İNKİŞAF SANDIĞI İŞLERİ MÜDÜRÜ and the Tax Office of the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Energy and is audited by an independent company.
